Residual Heat: Women in Innovation After-hours Networking - Resilience in Action

Event description

Wind down with connection, reflection, and Territory-grown insight.

Residual Heat is Women's Innovation Network NT’s signature evening event, created for women in innovation, STEAMM, research, business, and beyond to come together at the close of the day. These sessions are informal, energising, and centred on the real conversations that often happen after hours.

This October edition will explore how the lessons and momentum of business events, like October Business Month, can be applied practically - especially through the lens of women’s lived experiences. Through Territory-first stories and open dialogue, we’ll unpack resilience, reframing, and what it takes to move ideas forward in complex environments.

Participants will leave with:

  • Fresh connections across sectors and disciplines
  • Insightful reflections, reframed for women and girls
  • A thought-provoking close to the day, grounded in shared experience

Who should attend:
This series is designed for women and champions of women working in or connected to innovation across the Northern Territory.

Attendees may include:

  • Business owners, founders, and entrepreneurs
  • Professionals in science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics, research, education, government, or policy
  • Students, early-career professionals, and emerging leaders
  • Anyone interested in Territory-led innovation and real, cross-sector connection

This event offers a welcoming space for those who value meaningful conversation, shared learning, and building a stronger, more inclusive innovation ecosystem in the NT.
