A broad look at many of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) issues and requirements that are relevant to farming operations in the NT.

We'll start with an overview of NT WHS legislation, including industrial manslaughter, and then talk about the roles and responsibilities for Persons Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU), officers and workers.

We will identify the Codes of Practice that are relevant to the farming sector and do a deeper dive into these and include a couple of case studies.

At the conclusion, we'll hold a free networking morning tea.

We hope to see farmers from the Vietnamese community, however the event will be open to all. Translation into Vietnamese will be available at the event.
