Roshelle Dell is the founder and director of Pure Pilates NT, a Darwin-based business helping Territorians build strength, confidence and wellbeing through movement.

A certified personal trainer and Pilates educator, Roshelle’s career took an unexpected turn after discovering the impact Pilates had on her own health and wellbeing. Having studied law in the United States before moving to Darwin to work as a paralegal, she retrained after becoming a mum and opened her first Pure Pilates NT studio in 2024. Just 2 years later, the business has grown to 3 locations across Darwin.

Pure Pilates NT offers Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates and Barre for people of all ages and fitness levels, with a strong focus on quality coaching, personalised support and creating a welcoming community. Roshelle is also passionate about mentoring the next generation of Pilates instructors and raising the standard of Pilates education in the Northern Territory.

For Roshelle, embracing change means staying curious, continually learning and being prepared to adapt. From investing in professional development and new technology to responding to client feedback and expanding into new locations, she believes change creates opportunities to improve and grow.

Roshelle credits the Territory’s strong sense of community and collaboration as a key part of her business journey. Her vision is to continue expanding access to high-quality Pilates and movement education while creating local career opportunities and helping more Territorians feel stronger, healthier and more confident.
