October Business Month Platinum sponsor NAB are delivering a number of presentations throughout the month covering a range of topics including economic outlooks, support for small and medium enterprises, resilience and recovery and insights on the future of export markets.
Outlook for the Australian and Northern Territory economy
NAB Senior Economist, Gareth Spence will deliver a virtual presentation on the outlook for the Australian and Northern Territory economy in Darwin and Alice Springs. Gareth will provide a detailed analysis of the economy and share insights on currency, markets, interest rates and trends.
Gareth joined NAB in early 2018 after ten years with the Reserve Bank of Australia where he worked in the economic analysis and research, risk management and domestic financial markets departments.

Export markets and the future
Julie Rynski, NAB Executive of Regional and Agribusiness will present virtually in Katherine and Darwin on the Future of the Export Markets. Julie will share insights on how NAB are supporting innovation and growth in key export industries.
Julie joined NAB in October 2017. A senior finance industry executive with more than 25 years’ experience in financial services and human resources, Julie has held a variety of senior leadership roles across retail, business banking projects and acting group executive group chief people officer.

Resilience and recovery
Ana Marinkovic is NAB Executive of Business Direct and Small Business. Ana leads NAB small business division and will deliver a virtual keynote as she share insights from business owners across the country and how they are responding to COVID impacts.
Ana joined NAB in February 2019. A senior executive whose career spans more than 15 years in financial services, Ana has held senior roles across consumer and commercial banking, portfolio management, digitisation and product development.

Supporting small business in tough times
Australian Banking Association’s, Anna Bligh AC and NAB’s Ana Marinkovic will present a virtual keynote on what support is available for Australian small business during these difficult times.
Anna Bligh is the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Banking Association. Her priorities include strengthening the culture in banking and delivering the right outcomes for customers. Anna has had a long and distinguished career in politics, and was the Premier of Queensland for almost five years until March 2012.
