Inclusive Employment: Building Stronger Workforces Through Diversity

Event description

Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) is a federally funded program that helps people living with a disability, injury, or health condition find and maintain employment in the mainstream workforce. We work closely with both job seekers and employers to create successful and sustainable employment outcomes.

Our team provides individualised support to participants throughout their employment journey, from preparing for work and securing a role to maintaining long-term employment. We also assist employers by connecting them with suitable candidates and providing ongoing support to ensure positive outcomes for both the employee and the business.

Many employers are unaware of the range of support available when hiring through Inclusive Employment Australia. These supports may include recruitment assistance, workplace modifications, on-the-job support, guidance on reasonable workplace adjustments, and access to available funding and wage subsidies where eligible.

To help local businesses learn more, we are hosting a Lunchtime Information Session for employers. This relaxed and informative session will provide an overview of the services and supports available, the benefits of inclusive hiring, and how we can help your business attract and retain valuable employees.

The session will also provide an opportunity to ask questions, discuss your workforce needs, and learn how Inclusive Employment Australia can support your organisation.

A light lunch will be provided, and we encourage employers, managers, and business owners to attend.

Join us to discover how inclusive employment can strengthen your workforce while making a meaningful difference in the lives of people within our community.
